Privacy Policy

These Privacy Policies (hereinafter, the “Privacy Policies”) govern the processing of information collected from Users on the Site: slikpro.com (hereinafter, the “Site”) and the mobile application “SLIK PRO” (hereinafter, the “Application”), collectively, the “Platform,” owned by SLIK PRO CORP (hereinafter, “SLIK” or the “Company”), and form part of the Site’s Terms and Conditions, to which the definitions contained therein apply. The purpose of these Privacy Policies is to describe the types of personal data and information of Users (hereinafter, “Personal Information”) that SLIK collects, the purposes for which it is used, the circumstances under which SLIK may disclose such Personal Information, and what rights Users have regarding its protection.
Access to the Platform, as well as the use of the Service offered through it, are subject to your acceptance of these Privacy Policies and the Terms and Conditions. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THEM, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS THE PLATFORM OR USE THE SERVICE. YOUR ACCESS TO THE PLATFORM AND/OR USE OF THE SERVICE IMPLIES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE PRIVACY POLICIES AND THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
SLIK reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change or modify these Privacy Policies, or to remove portions of them at any time. If we implement changes, we will notify you in the manner we deem most appropriate. If you do not wish to continue using the Service in accordance with the new changes, you may cancel and stop using our Services.
The information collected may include:
3.1.1 Personal Information. SLIK collects the following personal information from its Users (hereinafter, "Personal Information"): information regarding the identity of its Users provided at the time of registration on the Platform. Such information includes: first name(s), last name, date of birth, date of hire, education level, office location, division/department, and gender. Users may choose to withdraw their consent for SLIK to use their personal information at any time.
3.1.2 General Information. SLIK may collect general information about Users ("General Information"). Such information may include:
Technical Data, which may include: your Internet Protocol (IP) address, URL information, cookie data from the specific website you requested, your login information, browser type and version, server address, domain name, time zone settings, language, operating system, and platform.
Navigation Data: When accessing the Platform and/or accessing the Service, SLIK may also collect data on User usage and navigation (server address, domain name, etc.). Such navigation data may be combined with other information provided to SLIK and may be used to analyze and personalize the Service.
SLIK may use such data to perform traffic or business analysis and to determine which aspects of the Platform and/or the Service are of greatest or least utility to Users.
3.2 Data quality.
3.2.1 By entering personal data into the Platform, the User agrees that such data is accurate, current, and complete. SLIK commits to maintaining and storing it with the same quality.
5.1. In order to protect User Information, SLIK implements various security measures, following generally accepted industry standards to protect Personal Information during its processing.
5.2. Despite the security measures implemented, SLIK cannot guarantee the security of the information that the User discloses. By using the Platform, the User expressly acknowledges and agrees that SLIK does not guarantee the security of the data provided or received.
6.1. SLIK uses your information to provide the services of the Platform. SLIK does not sell or redistribute Users' Personal Information, nor does it use such Personal Information for purposes unrelated to the internal operation of the Platform. The collection and processing of Personal Information is intended for:
6.1.1. The provision, administration, management, improvement, and updating of the Platform and/or the Service by SLIK.
6.1.2. Resolving disputes, responding to concerns, inquiries, or other requests from Users.
6.1.3. Providing technical support to the User.
6.1.4. Personalizing, monitoring, and measuring the performance of the Platform and/or the Service.
6.2. SLIK will only retain User Information to the extent that: (a) It is required by law and/or a competent judicial authority; or (b) it is necessary to address any issue the User may have. When the User's information is no longer required, SLIK will delete or destroy such information.
The owners of Personal Information may exercise their rights to access, delete, and update their Personal Information, as well as to object to its processing and to be informed of any transfers made, free of charge.
If Users wish to exercise their rights of access, rectification, or deletion of their Personal Information, they may do so by sending a written request in person, providing proof of identity, to the following email address: consultas@SLIK.com.
Users represent and warrant that they are at least eighteen (18) years of age. Individuals under 18 are not authorized by SLIK to use the Platform and/or the Service unless they have the express consent of their parents or guardians. If you become aware that your child under the age of eighteen (18) has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us at the email address listed at the end of this document.
The Platform and the databases containing Users' Personal Information are hosted on AWS servers in Ireland.
SLIK will retain personal data and other information related to the use of the Platform and/or the Service for as long as the user utilizes the Services, provided that its deletion has not been requested by the data subject, and it will be retained in accordance with legal timeframes, taking the last communication as a reference.
In order to improve your use of the Platform and the Service, SLIK may include links to third-party websites. Neither these Privacy Policies nor the Terms and Conditions apply to such sites. These links take Users away from the Site and are beyond SLIK's control; such sites may have their own privacy policies. SLIK is not responsible for the content or activities of such third-party sites. Your access to such websites is at your own risk and responsibility.
SLIK may decide to transfer its business. In such an event, Users' Personal Information could be one of the company assets transferred to or acquired by the acquirer. Users acknowledge and agree that such a transfer may occur, and that any acquirer of SLIK may continue to use their Personal Information in accordance with these Privacy Policies.
SLIK reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change or modify these Privacy Policies, or to remove portions of them at any time, so Users should review them periodically. Such changes will take effect immediately upon their posting on the Platform. If, after the posting of changes or notification thereof, the User continues to use the Service, such use will constitute their acceptance of those changes.
SLIK may send notices to Users, including those regarding changes to these Privacy Policies, either via email or by posting them on the Platform.

SLIK complies with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, as well as Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, and with Argentine Law 25.326 on the Protection of Personal Data and other local data privacy regulations.
All disputes arising from or in connection with these Privacy Policies, including any issues regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the national commercial courts based in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, with the Parties expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may otherwise apply.
